Above;  Nancy V. B. Brigham in front of the massive fireplace in the Music Room of the Wack Residence.  Notice the fossil mosaic above the lintel.  These fossils were found in the same quarry that supplied the stone for the entire house.  This is one of five fireplaces in the residence.  Three share this chimney mass - two others are behind this one at 45 degree angles.
